You can find my programs not only on my own site but also in several software directories: Smol Top, DevHub, TinyHunt, ShipThing and Startup Fame. Here is what they are.

What a software directory is

A directory is a showcase site that collects program cards: a name, a short description and a link to the author's site. People browse them to discover new, useful programs.

Why they are useful

  • Easier to find me. If you are looking for a simple program, a directory may lead you to mine.
  • More trust. The program is listed on more than one site.

Where exactly

  • Smol Top — a showcase of small projects.
  • DevHub — a directory of tools.
  • TinyHunt — a collection of small apps.
  • ShipThing — a showcase of new products.
  • Startup Fame — a directory of startups and projects.

What this means for you

For you it is simply one more way to find a program and download the free demo. Wherever you come from, the files are hosted on GitHub and you can check they are clean on the Security page.

In short

Directories are showcases that link back to my site. They help people find a program and try the demo.
