When you buy software online from a small independent author, two questions always come up: will my card payment go through and is it safe to enter my card details. Here are honest answers in plain words. Payments on my site are handled by Prodamus — a well-known Russian payment provider — so this guide is most useful if you pay with a Russian card.

What Prodamus is

Prodamus is a well-known Russian payment service. In simple terms, it is a secure “checkout” that processes the payment. When you press the pay button on the site, you are redirected to a Prodamus page where you enter your card details. The money goes directly through the payment system, and as the seller I only see the fact that the payment was made — not your card.

Is it safe to enter card details

Yes. This is the main question, and the answer is simple:

  • You enter card details on the payment system's side, not on my website.
  • The website never sees or stores your card number, expiry date, or the code on the back.
  • The connection is encrypted — the payment page runs over a secure protocol (the padlock icon in your browser).

So your payment data never reaches me or the site's hosting — it stays inside the secure environment of the bank and the payment system.

Which cards you can use

Prodamus accepts Russian cards:

  • Mir cards from any bank.
  • Visa and Mastercard issued by Russian banks.
  • SBP (Fast Payments System) by QR code, when that option is shown on the payment page.

If you pay with a foreign card (issued outside Russia), the site has a separate method for that — via the lava.top service.

Will you get a receipt

Yes. Prodamus issues a fiscal receipt and sends it to you — to the email or phone you provide at checkout. It is a real cash receipt, not just a “thank you for your purchase” note. So the purchase is documented officially.

How the payment works, step by step

  1. Pick a program on the site and press the pay button.
  2. A Prodamus page opens with the amount and the program name.
  3. Enter your card details and confirm the payment (your bank may send an SMS code).
  4. You receive a receipt by email and access to the full version of the program.

What happens after payment

After a successful payment you get the full version of the program — without the demo limits. Activation is tied to your computer, so there are no long serial numbers to type in by hand.

If something goes wrong

You can always get a refund under the refund rules. If a payment “hangs” or does not go through, write to me at info@evgeniymamonov.com and we will sort it out.

Which programs this works for

Prodamus can be used to pay for any of my Windows programs:

  • Screen Recorder — one-click screen recording with sound.
  • Kadrik — splits a video into sharp frames (photos).
  • Diktik — turns speech into text.

Each program has a free demo — try it on your own tasks first, and pay only when you decide to use the full version.

In short

Paying via Prodamus from Russia is safe: a Mir, Visa, or Mastercard card from a Russian bank will work, the site never sees your card details, and after payment you get a real receipt. All that is left is to pick a program and try the demo.
